The Tormenta FC Academy affiliate program is designed to provide support and collaboration to soccer clubs in South Georgia and the Low Country of South Carolina. The program utilizes the support of the Tormenta FC professional club structure while maintaining a local focus that meets the needs of all youth players in the community.

 

Created with the goal of leading the evolution of youth soccer, our affiliation program strives to provide a partnership in which our organizations cooperatively build an environment and culture in which all members thrive.

 

The affiliation with Tormenta FC offers a clear pathway for the local youth soccer community to reach the professional level of soccer. We will provide access to opportunities for enhancing our shared soccer experience while growing the passion for playing and viewing soccer to unprecedented levels.

 

Tormenta FC Academy wants to work hand in hand with other local clubs in creating a soccer community where the focus is on the best interests of the participants. Promoting and establishing a positive soccer experience ensures athletes, coaches, families, and other support groups interact in a cohesive manner to promote on and off field player success.

• Player Development Pathway: Tormenta FC and Charleston United Girls acknowledge that one of the primary purposes of this agreement is to provide a pathway and the greatest opportunity for youth players to achieve their objective of signing a professional contract with Tormenta FC.

• Youth and Pro Club Integration: Upon identification and approval from affiliate, exceptional players may have the opportunity to train and participate in games with the Academy or USL teams.

  • Specifically Charleston United girls select (U13-U19) players as recommended by the club it's Director and Coaches, will have the opportunity to participate within the DPL girls program at Tormenta FC Academy.

  • Charleston United participants will be assessed to participate in the USL Girls Academy League (Summer 2023) as well as be assessed for opportunities with the USL W team. Girls Select Program Director and USL W Head Coach Jim Robbins will provide oversight in this matter and remain in communication with Charleston United Director Stephen Wakeham.

• Training Sessions: Opportunity for all youth club coaches to attend training sessions for the professional first team, second team, W team, and academy teams.

• College Advisory Program: Affiliate club has opportunity to use college contacts to assist players with recruiting.

• Academy Tournaments/College ID Camp: Early bird registration pricing available for academy tournaments and college ID camp participation.

• Player Evaluation Templates: Affiliate club has access to tools used to evaluate Tormenta FC Academy players.

• Game Tickets: Affiliate club will receive two season tickets to all home matches and an opportunity to purchase tickets at the “affiliate price” for all home matches.

• Tormenta FC Academy Camp: Upon approval from both organizations, Tormenta FC Academy organizes and administers a soccer camp at the affiliate location. A joint marketing campaign will be created to maximize number of campers.

• Pro Club Brand: Affiliate has access to using Tormenta FC Academy logo package and ability to purchase Tormenta FC Academy stickers, patches and fan gear.

• Social Media/Web Site: Affiliate promotes partnership with Tormenta FC Academy on club website and social media.

• Facility Agreement: Upon approval from affiliate, request access for field usage for training and games.
